About Us
Discover the story behind Subway Rush and a little bit about myself.
Hi. I'm Rob.
An avid chess player, dog lover, ecom trade manager - for one of Australia's largest retailers - and a bit of a developer on the side.
Thanks for playing!
I created Subway Rush to mirror the "train carriage number game" I played growing up, but after discovering Digits, a [now abandoned] game by The New York Times, I decided to turn it into something a little different... hanging on to the URL for good measure!
What you play today is its evolution into a fast-paced, action-packed word challenge, designed to keep even the most adept wordsmiths engaged, and on their toes.
If you have any feedback, or even words of encouragement, I'd love to hear from you via my Contact Us page.
Subway Rush 2.0
Subway Rush was rebuilt early 2025, with version 2.0 launching in March. This is the biggest update since going live in 2023, and is designed to enhance user experience, speed up code execution, and introduce new features.
Most calculations, including streak tracking and optimization multipliers, remain unchanged. Of course, if you notice anything unusual, please let me know via my Contact Us page.
